This can include setting up interviews, determining where a segment is to be shot and selecting the shots to be used. Attending and filming industry events on behalf of Solar Media. As a reporter, you will compile data from various sources, investigate, analyse and write the stories and edit them. As a cameraman you will operate the camera, light and sound equipment. You will take the footage you\&#8216;ve acquired and create news and feature segments, suitable for broadcasting online. You will assist in training other members of the team in video journalism techniques. <p>The successful applicant will have:</p> Complete fluency with use of HD cameras and an ability to shoot video to a broadcast-quality level. Complete fluency with Final Cut Pro and/or Cyberlink Power Director, and an ability to edit stories to deadline with imagination and flair.
