We are seeking an online editor as we continue to develop existing and new products.
Your responsibilities
You will research and write news, background articles and conduct interviews with thought leaders on specialist technology topics. In addition to your text and content re-sponsibilities, you will continuously monitor your website‘s performance and work on continuous improvements in cooperation with our design and web development departments. Additionally you will stay in contact to your readers, and promote content daily via a range of channels including Twitter, Facebook, and more.
Furthermore, an essential part of your work is to make new contacts in the industry, and cultivate existing contacts with partners (corporations, consortiums, user groups, etc).
You will work on print, online and conference concepts.
What we expect
You are an experienced editor in the online sector (at least 2-3 years) and very familiar with Social Media channels such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. A profound ITC-knowledge and enthusiasm, as well as the readiness to deal with new topics and technolo-gies for software issues, are essential.
You are ambitious and seek to excel in your work. You have exceptional organisational skills, self-discipline and strong dedication, and perfect orthography of the English lan-guage, actively in terms of writing texts as well as passively with regard to editorial work and revising.
